Una Civilización perdida en el tiempo invadida hace un millón de años. En las profundidades del Himalaya, un grupo de Sherpas acaba con la vida de una gigantesca criatura humanoide. Convencida de que se trata del legendario Yeti, la Dra. Claire Collier organiza una expedición junto a su antiguo estudiante Matt Connor y al cazador Rondo Montana, entre otros, para buscar más especímenes.
